Soccer Saturday Sackings

I don’t think that automatically, I think it when it’s blatantly obvious.

Ian Wright has been a top pundit on MOTD for years, he’s there on merit and that’s what I support, I do not support sacking people due to their age or skin colour.

Do you support sacking people for being woefully inept at their job?

I do not support sacking people due to their age or skin colour.
There's no evidence to suggest that is the reason why they were sacked though. As far as I'm aware none of the three people involved have alleged that was the reason either?

Who needs evidence when you can just have wild, baseless arguments.

Yes but as I’ve said, I don’t think that is what’s happened.

They’ve been happy with them for years and suddenly in 2020, with all that’s happened, they’re not?

Despite, as City fans, you and I not liking it, there’s loads of morons that like “Jeff and the boys” and their shit banter.

I want equal opportunities which will see a fair representation of “black faces” as you and that other idiot @union city blue have said, I don’t want people sacked nor not given opportunities because they don’t fit a diversity quota.

Based on.....

There’s no evidence they’re not taking action or deciding on how to go about the next steps behind the scenes.

I am giving an opinion on why they have been sacked based on what I’ve seen Sky do since the BLM.

You may think it’s a coincidence that after 10-15 years Sky have finally had enough of them, whilst there’s a huge diversity movement this year and Sky already have increased their diversity for the sake of it... I do not.

If I am wrong and it’s Hart, Carragher and Neville replacing them, I’ll come on and admit in this thread.

Based on.....
I’ve told you several time’s.

- Sky were happy with them for over a decade.

- their performance hasn’t changed since.

- It’s 2020 and we’ve had the highest diversity push since Sky were a thing.

- Sky have already pushed up their diversity to over-representing minorities on panels, since the beginning of the year.

The truth is neither of us know for sure so all we can do is take what we do know and form an objective opinion based on that.

If one of us is wrong we’ll have to admit it.

None of it is because I don’t want black people on tele, Richards is a breath of fresh air but I’d rather have Roy Keane or Sounness over Ashley Cole.

Really? I've not listended to Ashley Cole much but all Keane bangs on about is 'trying harder', 'getting closer to people' and 'this is Manchester United we are talking about..'

He's good for social media clips but I find whenver I see him that he offers very little actual insight

Oddly enough I do quite like Rio Ferdinand when he stops being a United fan and takes his job seriously. What he says about defending and striker movements I find pretty interesting
