Soccer Saturday Sackings

I think TV companies have a responsibility to represent thier audience, particulary if they are looking to grow markets in Women's football for example and reflect the growing number of women who attend games

You also need representation to show these types of roles are accessable to minorities which then allows the 'best person for the job' argument to florish

Let's take formula 1. If it is full of flambyount middle-ages Italians and French men, my daughter(mixed race girl) could potentially see any career in Formula 1 as a non-starter. However, there are now plenty of women in the pit-lne so a career in F1(as unlikely as it is) does not seem the million miles away it once might have done.

Same goes for drug services in Wythenshawe, no point having a building exclusively full of middle-aged middle class white men there from Alderley Edge, you need to reflect the community and show these servcies understand the background of the people they are hoping to help
I’ve never said I don’t want fair representation, I just don’t want to force it by placing people in jobs because of their skin colour.

Does your mix raced daughter want her achievements to be based on merit or because someone at Sky or the BBC wants to play identity politics so has given her a job based on her skin Colour?

I think it’s an insult if I’m honest.

The diversity quotas we monitor are that we’re giving people from all backgrounds opportunities, based on CVs and Interviews, rather than the end outcome.

There is a joke about being able to hold an umbrella in there but I don't think i will bother;-)

Notice Scott Minto has also announced that he has been let go by Sky Sports.
Have Sky put out any press releases yet about their new presenter line ups yet? Season not far off, if you count the Comm Shield on Saturday as the start, so I thought it would be announced by now.
On another note, weren’t the TV games due out this week too??

Very disappointed this has gone down the skin co!our route, what is wrong with you lot
I couldn't care less whether the pundits are white penises or black vaginas.....er, belay that, I prefer the black vaginas.
They all talk rubbish, too many of them are, er, a bit thick and mostly poorly informed.
