If we or any other club dont sellout out for any game my answer is So What .It cost a fortune to follow a team now a days .With people on minimum wage, zero hour contracts ,housing benifits and universal credit and more people than ever using food banks somethings have to give .I paid £45 for my ticket tonight .if it was anymore i would have watched it in the pub .If it was £10,a ticket would have sold out weeks ago .Dont blame fans for being poor

It is becoming quite irritating now and unfortunately the Emptyhad myth has become reality.
However, I read somewhere, that City’s LOWEST attendance is only 66 fewer than Liverpool’s HIGHEST attendance. There you have it

That's my answer too.

Solely from a Financial perspective though the game sold out so it was priced perfectly. It even went to purchase history sales so gives fans who don't come often a chance to attend.

I still think it a dear do £45 for a night game when on Tv . any more and i would not have gone .Just because people pay it doesnt meen they agree with the price .some do it out of a sense of loyalty

Im not arguing for or against the price just saying that from a financial perspective its priced correctly. The game sold out meaning revenue was maximised.

In fact the game selling out suggest that the price was too low and could have been higher.

Im not advocating that of course but there has to be a balance between attempting to balance the books and the price being affordable to the fans. Selling out on the day of the game and your comment 'any more and I would not have gone' suggest they found that balance.

3pm headline news on sky sports news .”.Believe it or not there are still tickets available for tonight”

Yes but who have bought the tickets ? Is it the legions of City fans who have been priced out over the years and hardly ever go or is it the fans that people on gere slag of like the :platsticks: the "tourists" or the newbees or the Johny come latleys ? I dont mind who comes but would rather have fanatical loyal and passionate fans coming at a decent price than any other tom dick and harry who spend most of the game taking selfies

It is champions league football we are talking about at the end of the day, it's rarely that cheap wherever you go. Yes the atmosphere is better, if the ground is filled with oldschool passionate City fans. However I think we need to drop the attitude towards JCLs and the like because I think the reason City have more no-shows on those odd games, is when rags or dippers can't afford it for instance, they have the tourists and "plastics" to pick up the slack(the seats that then become available by their absence) and City perhaps don't have it to that level yet.

It's not like the prices are cheaper at other top 6 clubs, so we can't really blame the club for charging the going rates as I've seen some try to do. The funny thing is, Liverpool fans talk about plastics all the time these days towards City and they've had way more of them for way longer... #noselfawarenessfc

Does it matter.
There has been plenty cheap games recently that have not sold out.
I believe Saturday's game was dearer than tonight's.
Pretty decent price for a champions league quarter final.
