The OSC deserve a lot of credit for this, as well as City Matters, the DSA and everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe and made their feelings known publicly.

The irony is that the outcome is almost certainly the one that would have been agreed had City consulted with the DSA and CM in the first place, but without the PR disaster and general loss of goodwill that ensued because they didn't.
