Something Odd Going on with Tevez

Forgive me if this makes no sense, because I haven't kept up with all of the thread, but I'm a bit lost as to why he needs to go all the way to Argentina to see this particular doctor then (leaving a side all the ambiguity surround personal problems also). He can't fly to Poznan (as it's better not to fly with a dead leg), yet he flies all the way to Argentina? And why? Because he personally knows the doctor? Or the doctor speaks Argentinian? I find that completely ridiculous.

Rat here and it stinks.

Yer its the guapo Argentinian Dr, he gave the dead leg to Carlito in the study with the candle stick - he could be heard speaking ARGENTINIAN from afar.

Why doesn't Tevez bring his family over here if he misses them? Were they here when he was at United/West Ham?

He is separated form his wife is he not?

He goes to see the kids when he can... it's what dads do.

Didn't know he'd split from his mrs

Hes injured and his family are on the other side of the planet.

Whats the big mystery ?

He cant play and misses home, he has the right attitude it only benefits the club to keep him happy and let him have a week off at home. This is the sort of thing you do to keep your best player one of the best players in the world happy.

There are some people on here that would argue water isnt wet....

He hasn't gone back specifically for the treatment though, has he? I thought (and I may well be wrong) that he couldn't play and so was given time off to be with his family back in Argentina, but he would receive treatment there also (i.e. - the treatment was not the main resaon for his return).

Now Mancio's decided that he shouldn't be getting back on a plane until he's fully recovered from the dead leg as doing so may hamper his injury further?

Shouldn't of let hin go in the first place then

-- Wed Nov 03, 2010 1:28 pm --

ssg2. With you there. Furthermore, why not fly the doctor over here?

they've split up, so she's living with her parents and the kids, so it's not possible.

Furthermore the dead leg thing is only because the City doctors are in poland till friday, so will assess Carlos when both parties are back at Carrington on friday.

An explanation has come from City, through Brian Kidd, in a leak to The Independant, this morning.

he hasnt gone back to argentina solely for treatment...hes injured and wanted to go back to see his kids, so mancini let him go. good decision i think, your killing two birds with one stone. tevez gets to see his kids so hes happier when he comes back, and he receives treatment (from the argentina national team doctor for those who are doubting the quality of treatment)

hopefully he'll be back ready and fresh in time for the derby a week today!
