Following on the lead from OGS , just wait until the next rag you speak to tells you that winning trophies isn't important to them...................................it's the progress which matters .

Obviously the quality of football played doesn't matter either ...........presumably.
 
Noddy is perfect for the rags that's why he got an extension. He won't rock the boat, bad mouth the board or demand anything from them.

He's still a legend in the fan's eyes and he's very good with the soundbites and pushing the "United way" bullshit. In spite of being very limited and crap a lot of the time they are second in the league, have taken four points from us, knocked the scousers out of the cup and could still potentially win three trophies, although the league is a long shot. They'll be made up with that trust me.

Tbh even the Sky presenter seemed to be shockedwhen he introduced the piece with OGS.

" a trophy will not say that we are back " says OGS.

maybe beating City is their sole aim these days ?

It's an odd one. Since the bully retired in 2013 they have won three trophies I think? I'm sure each time they must have thought they were back. Being back for me means winning the league. Any trophy is nice but the league is the marker that a team is consistently turning up and showing the consistency required to stay at the top.

Even that’s not enough really now. Got to do it regularly. Look at the dippers. All that hoo ha last season and they are now 8th or wherever it is and looking ropey.
