It's an odd one. Since the bully retired in 2013 they have won three trophies I think? I'm sure each time they must have thought they were back. Being back for me means winning the league. Any trophy is nice but the league is the marker that a team is consistently turning up and showing the consistency required to stay at the top.
Most of the rag supporters talk about their past success and trophies won , before realising how fucking shallow they are and then resorting to talking about their style of football.
If their manager doesn't consider trophies as being a yardstick and has the team playing a fucking awful style of football, then what is their aim ?
Money appears to be their main objective to off-set the syphoning off from the Glazers ( may they long continue to do so ) and trying to stay relevant .
And this is the so-called " biggest club in the world " according to their pathetic fans .

they are only in 2 (not 3) and one of those they are 14 points behind. You can not include a trophy where to get in it you have to be knocked out of another. Or lets put it another way. You are allowed to include it..... as long as you are still at Primary School - whereby they try to let everyone - even all the fat kids have a chance. I agree it is a consolation cup that no team knocked out of the champions league should ever be allowed to compete in, but rest assured we'll never hear the end of it if they win it.

We have been the dominant side of the last 10 years but it will be glossed over in the future. I think our worst season in the last 10 was scraping 4th under Pellegrini largely thanks to West Ham beating United in the last game at Upton Park. We still won a cup that year though. Peps first year wasn’t great either despite the blistering start.
