They are going to have to invest heavily in the upkeep of the swamp soon, the place is falling to bits. It's like a dilapidated old garden shed in comparison to many others in the Prem, and the Championship, too.
The Never Ending Story?so thinking ahead, what do we call it the next season, what comes after ' trilogy '..?? serious question.

And if my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle.I wouldn't be so sure, he's doing something right though nobody seems to know, probably including himself. Take us out of the race and they'd top. Fucking top.......Unbelievable but that's how it is. No matter how many ifs, buts, and whatevers you factor in, the league table doesn't lie. They will be close next season.
God, I hope I'm wrong.
Please, please please! That's true and Liverpool only started to improve when they dumped the boot room concept. To be fair LFC have undergone a huge shake-up on and off the field in recent years. It won't be popular to say it but Klopp has been a huge part of that change. The comparison with LFC is spot-on. If it's correct then the Rags have got another 20 years of misery ahead of them before they turn it round.

Not disputing anything you've said, what I am saying is that they'll be there or there abouts and possibly even closer next season for some ungodly reason. And if my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle.
It's a ridiculous assertion. The Premier League is made up of 20 teams, not 19, and we’re clearly the best; by some margin.
Maybe if the rags - and other teams - had invested in their squad more wisely and rotated their players to greater effect, the gap wouldn’t be so large.
For now, we are the best and it’s other clubs' job to close the gap to us.
Before we know it we'll be cranking up

Nah, if they follow their usual form they'll go back down the table next season. 2 half steps forward, one big one back. Not disputing anything you've said, what I am saying is that they'll be there or there abouts and possibly even closer next season for some ungodly reason.
