I can definitely see Rodgers going there mid-season. He's spent 6 years trying to rebuild from losing the Liverpool job, and if Leicester keep dropping, or he gets fired, all that reputation rebuilding will be wiped out.

Right, this is what I think needs to happen. With West Ham going so well, Arsenal on a roll and Conte at Spurs top 4 could be way out-of-reach. There is no way Utd are winning the CL, so basically they need to mess up in the group and drop down into the Europa Cup (again).

That will keep OLE in post well into 2022 (and beyond if they win it), cos that would get him back into the CL.

So, we need to cheer for Villaereal or Young Boys if we want OGS to stay at the wheel - but not too loudly, because if they finish bottom of the group he could be gone by Xmas.

There are no decent managers available. He is staying I reckon. Losses against Liverpool and us are expected and they beat Spurs who they will be competing with for 8th place so it’s all good.

That makes sense. A job at utd and the budget they have will be a draw in itself, no doubt. Although imagine what it would do to his ego and career if he were to have been the manager of both liverpool and manU, and have only won things with celtic and Leicester.

A premature discussion maybe, lets see what this international break brings.
