Soriano and Begiristain what do we want?

I want them to help to turn this club into a major force in Euorpean and Domestic football. I want to be in a position where other clubs look at the Man City model and say, 'That's how it should be done'
I want a Youth Academy that is the envy of the world and I want every promising young footballer to grow up dreaming of playing for Man City.
I want us to beat Barcelona in the CL final by outclassing them at their own game.
I want us to win trophy after trophy until everyone is fucking sick to the back teeth of us. That'll do for starters.

Right out of my mouth blue tooth

And bang on with that'll do for starters

Anyone else find it odd that our new execs have their own fanboy following?
Unheard of if you ask me.

This started promising until it turned once more into a 'Sack the Manager' thread.

I'm getting to the point where I want Mancini to stay just so he p*sses certain posters off, even more than he does now. It'll also mean we're still winning things.

If he does get sacked though, I'll be on the new manager like a tramp on chips if he doesn't win every game or the CL in his first year. Then, I'll blame the board and ask for their head on a plate because my chips were cold, just for the sake of it.

Forza Man City.

I'll tell what will be funny if Mourinho does come here, and that'll be watching all his detractors squirm with embarassment as he delivers trophy after trophy. Didsbury Dave probably has a little black book with all your names in it ;).

What makes his post even odder is that the vast majority of this thread is about the playing staff.

Some posters get upset at any criticism of the manager but 'twas ever thus. It was just the same with Hughes.

I couldn't care less to be honest. You learn who is worth talking to over time.
Sorry, say again?

A new manager and a balancing of the playing squad.
Apologies, I must've read that wrong? Then, I must have read the next few pages wrong as well?

As for the criticism, I do it all the time mate. What I don't like is when it's constant after every perceived bad result, leading to somewhat subversive behaviour.

But eh, I think Mancini will be here next season regardless of whether he wins the league, FA Cup or manager of the month. Just an opinion of course, I don't have the ITK that many on here do.

It was inevitable after Marwood! Marwood was approaching Swales level 'popularity' on BM before his relocation.

It's because they are amongst the best in the game. What they did at Barca was exceptional and we beat Liverpool and Chelsea to them (I believe).

Good things will come, our owners, these pair in charge, Carlsberg couldn't do this.

-- Tue Feb 05, 2013 7:38 pm --

Dailymail

Haha thought so.

It's not from any source, it's just my opinion, reading between the lines that we may have been interested in those 2 players. We were always going to sell De Jong so are you saying that Garcia was his first choice?

If so then it's even more embarrassing than it already is. That better for you? Prick

Why don't you quote my other 15 posts on the thread, or shall I do it for you?

Regarding what you 'don't like'', I don't really care.

I'll tell you what THEY want.

They will want to protect their own well-earned reputations and even better-paid jobs for as long as they possibly can.

Which is why I think they will always get the best manager they possibly can.

Have you heard we have Alex McLeish lined up as well then ; )
