Soriano and Begiristain what do we want?

Why don't you quote my other 15 posts on the thread, or shall I do it for you?

Regarding what you 'don't like'', I don't really care.
OK, I'll start with an extract from your second:

Blind hope of an FA cup final is not going to bring that.
And third:

Replace Mancini with mourinho

'I don't care', priceless ;)

Haha thought so.

It's not from any source, it's just my opinion, reading between the lines that we may have been interested in those 2 players. We were always going to sell De Jong so are you saying that Garcia was his first choice?

If so then it's even more embarrassing than it already is. That better for you? Prick

Time of the month?

Yep. And a name or two that travels around the world wouldn't go amiss either. To increase corporate, sponsorship and match day revenue we need a higher profile.

Here's my blueprint for the future:

Replace Mancini with mourinho
Bring in ronaldo
Sell nasri, Tevez, Milner, Maicon, Garcia, kolorov and probably lescott and Milner.

Replace those players with pacier, younger players who can pass the ball. Obviously the best we can get.

Sit back, expand the stadium and light the blue touch paper ;-)

I'll agree with all of the above but surely we can't sell Milner twice can we? :)
Get a nice sell on clause and its possible ;-)
ahhh back in the room lad fair play dave

Alas, another anti Mancini/anti Milner thread in disguise but I will avoid the bait!

Back to the original question.

What I want from Ferran and Txiki is a self financing club playing regular Champion's League football whilst winning some silver every year or two.

I would also like to see is, and I'm certain it's required to self finance, an expanded stadium with a capacity of 65-70,000 where pay on the day safe standing can be incorporated to target new and lapsed supporters by offering an easily accessible and atmospheric football experience. After all, it was our first stand on the Kippax that hooked most of us for life and we need to ensure potential fans of the future can be offered that affordable experience.

In short, it's nice to be the best but it's better to be nice. Let's hope they can make this club the place that players and fans alike want to be.
top post mate especially the kippax bit its so me

Basically get City like Barcelona - a team that is full of word class players, most of which are from the academy. Emphasis on the youth academy though - I want children to grow up playing the 'City way'. Install a culture like how Barca have done with La Masia. It will take years though, but it will be worth it. Maybe one day City could have 11 players who are all academy graduates like Barca did earlier this season.
Great thoughts I especially like the idea of kids wanting to grow up playing the "city way"
I totally agree

Far from it. I just can't be arsed with tossers who come back with the response "source" whenever someone mentions a player(s) who we were linked with by all and sundry.

"linked with by all and sundry"?
Stop it.
By all means express you're opinion but coming across as one of the all seeing, all knowing pretty much negates your defence.

i want us to start using our influence on the media(sky, papers etc).our owners are directly responsable i believe for the increase in tv money.weve shook the whole thing up,can you imagine as a neutral how boring it would be without us.we (and the competition we bring to the whole league) are the future.
weve had snide jibs, flat out lies(news stories) other clubs trying to dictate how we spend out money and we have been graceful in our aceptance of it,to our detriment.

we need to throw our weight around.

Absolutely this! With the amount of money our owner has we should be able to tell anyone and everyone to fuck off when we need to. Including Platini and his cheating hare-brained schemes designed to keep us down. And the lying dickheads in the media who seem to continually invent stories to try and unsettle the club. When do we ever read anything negative about the scum, they seem to be afraid of the old pisscan over there.
