sound box thingys

got a new telly , picture is quality but the sound isn't brilliant , its a bit tinny, which sound box thing should I get , im not loaded so reasonably priced ones(cheap but good)

can anybody help :)

Got a sound bar from Tesco for about £80 and its adequate for the price.
(does blue tooth as well so I can play music from my phone or tablet through it!)

Sound bar in front of tv or sound base under tv.
Sound base gives opportunity for a bigger box.

A possible silly suggestion. But whenever I'm in someone's car or sometimes their house, I always check they've got the equalizer on the radio/telly set to the right levels.

It can really make a difference if you do the standard wave.
