souness

I like souness he is one if the few that have stood up for us at times this season, and I can forgive him today as his beloved Liverpool dropped a bollock and they are desperate to do it this year.

There will be black armbands on at sky this week

talking of black armbands what was on the one rogers was wearing today ,also what was the badge in the middle of liverpools shirt

Tbf Souness has always been more pro-city than any of the other pundits, possibly down to his association with Mancini who he clearly rated.
It must be difficult to remain completely objective when you see your team screwing up (though Neville seems to manage it quite well!)
I still like the guy.

I think compared to some of the scouse media pundits Souness has come out of this a lot better. Lawro, Hanson, Redknapp junior have all been very smug and arrogate this week and dismissive of our efforts in this title race and I think their faces should be red as their football shirts when they next appear on TV.

EDIT : I also forgot Phil Thompson, normally the worst of the lot, but I think Redknapp beat him on this occasion.

I normally like Souness as a pundit but he let him self down today, to say City's performance was not a champions performance was stupid, if thats just one dipper lover getting all arsey I can't wait to see Phil Thompson's face next saturday, the last few weeks he's been sat there like a right smug twat.

Proper threw his toys out there! The match was a formality. Can you imagine if liverpool did that? Would he be ranting at such a professional performance? No chance. My flatmate is a red and he was laughing at how biased it was. We won 2-0 comfortably in what everyone thought would be a very tricky game. If we win next week I think liverpool will drop points there and we'll go into the west ham game only needing a draw for the title

he really let his association with Liverpool get the better of him and came over very bitter, if the presenter had pushed he'd have turned purple and burst, his disappointment was so great, unusual for a usually good and pretty professional pundit.

Just wait for MOTD2 and Mark Lawrenson who siad we'd lose at Palace and Liverpool would win, he'll be moaning like a right woman.

Whos up little boys.....great Evertonian song.

You should have heard Paul Walsh on Sky Sports News. A more biased view I have yet to come across. He was so bitter at both Chelsea goals and even claimed it would have been a draw if Gerrard hadn't slipped.
