south stand atmosphere

over the last 5 years we have parts of the south stand singing different songs at the same time we need to go back to the north stand at maine rd let us all sing " WE ARE THE SOUTH STAND " before we sing any other song then let the other parts of the ground that are not famous anymore sing but we need to be as loud as the northstand at maine rd ever was. I am the bald fella with a birthmark sing.

The south stand doesnt bring any atmosphere whatsoever.

First song from the Plzen game the other night was "If you hate Man United clap your hands"

Repeat we never win at home x 10 and thats it, south stand done!

South Stand is by far the best place to be.

Good humour, singing, very few 'do you want fries with that Sir?' type kids and I can stand up without Showsec causing bother most of the time sometimes even with my arms folded.

The crowd were generally better on Sunday and fair play to the SS for their part.

Still don't get the obsession with chants about Utd or f-ing Fergie though. Must have been about 4-5 successive songs about them (2nd half I think).

They should replace the blue seats with yellow and red benches and call it the Platt Lane :) Was always a good crack in there back in the day and we were cool as fook :D

The South & the Kippax stands are repeatedly drowned out by a couple of thousand away fans, particularly in the Champs league. The rest of the stadium takes its lead from the 2 "singing sections" so get it roaring. Its nothing to do with the size of the club, listen & watch the Crystal Palace fans, dancing, bouncing,roaring like the German teams and they're bottom of the league!

SS is good and gets going, problem is the singers are spread out, people wont swap seats so we are mixed with the sit down, dont fly a flag, be quiet people..

Kippax corner now having seat numbers checked and 'sit down rule' trying to be enforced again

I sit in block 308"and it sounds like theirs about 40 fans in the SS singing.
