Left on 0330hrs coach to Manchester via London. Still fuming. That was subpar, worse than anything from 1997/98 too. No heart. The second half was barely just a shade better. Our ex goalkeeper didn't get tested.

Not really surprised. We typically just do enough to win these cup games but don’t think players really care about this cup. Pity we don’t just play more youth players fpr experience.

I am and was. Logically speaking If you beat the dippers and chavs in previous rounds there’s no reason to doubt us against the bottom of the league who can’t buy a win. Those two wins were totally wasted and meaningless now. Oh well, only hope that it’s a blessing for the excitement ahead

Couldn't agree more this 2 x team thing is shite. Half of our team in his first half genuinely wouldn't be starters in most teams incl Southampton..you cant beat a prem side with Phillips, Palmer Gomez, and Cancello in his formmm that's a third of the team FFS

Don't leave out Walker at CB. Arguably the worst move of all amongst a bushel of terrible moves.

The worry is that apart from Liverpool and Chelsea at home in the cups we haven't played well since the start of October. We have reverted to typical City!

Liverpool we let them back in it twice & a 25 minute blitz against a shit Chelsea
We havnt played anywhere near a standard set over the last 6 years
