I understand we bought a 5th cb due to injury issues in past seasons and yes 1 was injured tonight. So why not play the 2 tonight who won't start the derby? Walker & Cancelo next to each other clearly didn't work v Chelsea last Thursday so why repeat tonight? Surely experimentation is for pre season and friendlies not a flipping cup quarter final with most big clubs already knocked out. Typical City rears it's ugly head....again. Sounds like the players who were picked thought it'd be a stroll. I hope the players buy the fans tickets back from them.

Why beat Liverpool and Chelsea and then put a shocking team out against Southampton?
This team is winning fuck all this season.

If we play like that on Saturday, Pep and his entire team should resign and every single player should terminate their contracts.

Seen this performance coming a mile off.

We are not the best team anymore. Don’t matter if we have some of the best players in the world.

Passing is awful.
Team playing from back to front is slow and 2/3 levels below the previous seasons.
Players attitudes not good enough.
Player recruitment at this point in the season needs questioned.
Pep can’t keep performing miracles. Players throwing him to the wolves.

Stick with the Boss and ride this out. Big clear out needed and we need to recruit what we need to functions as a team not putting players in that are counter productive.

Took our eye off the ball now with the amount of success. Time for a reset. Lost a lot of big characters along the way.

That's up (down?) there with the 4-0 at Goodison in Pep's first season. Play like that on saturday, and it'll be a painful experience. But I have to believe we won't serve up another disgraceful display like that. I have to believe.

I’m afraid I would charge Cancelo with professional misconduct after that. As poor an individual performance I have seen in a long long time. I wonder what his pass completion stats were. Less than 40%?
We can bump our gums at Pep but no team can afford the passengers we carried tonight.
Full back position is going to screw us this season unless Rico can play on the left.
