Not sure what was so wrong with the lineup? Walker at centre back the only player not in their favoured position, did that really have anything to do with the result? We were just as bad defensively in the second half with Akanji there.

Cancelo proved tonight he’s a great left back. And that is all. Why didn’t pep take Gomez off and put walker to rb and Cancelo to lb where we’ve had success after success. No need to take bring 2 defenders on then. Cancelo has proven over and over he’s shit for us at right back.

Not sure he's even a great LB. Been poor all season wherever he's played. The Portuguese manager soon had him on the bench in the World Cup as well.
