I disagree. I think we have been poor the vast majority of games this season. We've been a lot less "shite" than 18 others to be fair ;-), we might not be at our very best but we are still pretty good most of the time.
We started slowly on Sunday, but once we got going we played some very good football until the game was finished at 4-0 then passed it around, not letting them get a touch, good game management that, ahead of a difficult week.
Pep picked a poor team tonight, a team who then compounded it by having the worst first half we've had collectively in several years.
There's been a few lately !We always seem to have one of these results in us, complete let down!
It's true Chelsea were awful, but you can only beat what's in front of you. The biggest margins of victory in the third round were City 4-0 and Brighton 5-1 at Boro. Plenty of PL teams played lower division teams and won by smaller margins. It's not the most statistically relevant metric but it's a good margin of victory. The more worrying bit is that we only had one or two decent chances on top of the four we scored.Very weird
the worst Chelsea since Roman took over ?
And yet are 2 nd in the PLI disagree. I think we have been poor the vast majority of games this season.
If this was a 1 off then you can take it on the chin but despite tonight being particularly poor we have struggled numerous times this season.

Well, you're using our past as a measuring stick, where we're not playing well by that metric.
However, we're not in the past, so we're playing well enough to be second at the moment.
The maths and position does not lie.
Not sure why that doesn't compute?
