The name 'Puff Daddy' at left back brings to mind Kolarov chasing back, running through treacle, and lagging further and further behind as the speedy forward pulled away from him, puffing and panting as he ran. He had a lot going for him Kolarov, but not speed :-)

Quite possibly Mane at Southampton is the real standout for that…..a relative low point over the last 10 years or so.

I’ve no issue with keeping Haaland fresh for Saturday, he will also be dangerous if required off the bench tonight in the last 30 mins, same with Kev.

Interesting. This is contrary to Peps comments about getting minutes into players’ legs ahead of the Derby. If KDB and Erling don’t get on tonight that’s two games they will have been sat on the bench. Maybe it’s all part of Pep’s ”ridiculous“ plan.
