Peps fault that today

Went far too cautious packing the middle of the pitch, because he was worried about fucking SOUTHAMPTON playing through us.

Completely caught him on the hop them sticking 11 men behind the ball and by the time we made the required changes we’d wasted 65 minutes.

Don’t ever want to see Rico FB again and we looked so much worse with Akanji CB on the ball than Gvardiol. Missed Nunes and Oreillys width, which says a lot about our squad planning as neither are fullbacks.

What was the point spending all that money in January to go back to the off form lads who got you in this mess.

They’ve conceded 82 goals in the PL this season. They are totally shit and this result was unacceptable. Glad you called it out .

They want to do it in this way,being relegated what can i say ? i didn't expect it ,and after 10 mins 15 mins
i said we need wingers here in that game because we could not expect the game we were playing & it is what it is .

You admit you could see it but you didn't do anything to change it until late into the 2nd half ? Unbelievable
Regardless of their tactics that team is low on confidence & should of been battered .
Haaland was not fit enough or performing well enough to play the full game, but maybe with Marmoush starting on a wing with Doku or Savinho on the other wing he would of got some service .

£170 million we spent this January and none of them walk into the worst City side in a decade. Add another £100 million on Nunes and Phillips and serious questions need to be asked about the recruitment.

The alternative argument is that Pep needs to up his game and start improving players like he used to. Doku, Savinho, Grealish and dare I say Haaland are all worse players under his system.

For me Omar walks into this team. Whether Pep thinks so is another matter.
In fact I reckon Marmoush gets in every team in the PL

Weird comments, did he genuinely think they would have a go?

Weird and very worrying if he did.
 
Disappointing to say the least. This game and the next two games are virtually CL qualifiers. With Haaland back in the side (a player who cannot create his own chances) we needed to provide him with those chances. So what do we do, play with no width against a packed defence. It was like having 10 men. Why change the very successful tactics of having O'Reilly and Nunes providing that width? Why not blitz them from minute 1 rather than minute 80? We had plenty of substitutes to bring on for tired legs. Marmoush, O'Reilly, Doku and Nunes look our hungriest players at the moment and none of them started! Big games against Bournemouth and Fulham now and, for me at least, the Palace Cup Final is our least important left.
