Southampton (A) - Post Match Thread

It might very well make no difference in the race for the PL title. The issue is the appalling bias of the refs and VAR in order to try and keep the league competitive (protect the product?), not as blatant as F1 but there is no doubt they are trying to ‘slow us down’.

Pep needs to make these players understand that no one wants us to win, so we need to go out there and give 100% every single game, not halfway through after a ht roasting...
 
We so spoilt! Like Walker said a point feels like a defeat.

People saying we played all the big teams sways yep we have but our hardest games are the ones who make it a cup final and we have a lot of those games to go.

Hopefully you feel the same after they bend over and apply the lube for Liverpool to bugger them.....as they do every season.

If you lead with your studs into the opponent's thigh how can it not be a red card?! Even if you win the ball (which he didn't) it's a dangerous challenge. There was also one in the first half on Grealish which was also a clear red. If we'd committed those challenges then the post-match narrative would be all about how lucky we were not to have 9 men.
 
We were due a drop in points,not end of world,was fortunate it wasent at arsenal which ended up givin us our big lead,were in a great position,few wernt at it today,to be honest as soon as sterlin got yanked off coz he was dogshit we actually started to play,another day wud of had 3 or 4 there in second half,nothin to worry about whatsoever,

They should have had two with the header against the post, so although I'm brassed off (seriously hacked off) that we couldn't underline our dominance with two or three more goals, a draw is a fairly good result in the grand scheme of things.
