I agree ....
Newcastle , in the seventies , was one of the very worst places to go , absolutely rife with hooligans , and there were very few 'hiding places' for an away fan ....
and Leeds was as bad , you went there and it seemed like half of Yorkshires louts were against you!
I've never had any problems whatsoever with Southampton fans .... at the Dell , at St Marys , or anywhere else !
