Couldn't agree more in regard to Walker. Cancelo makes the same mistakes as Walker but at least he contributes to us attacking..Very odd game. We have played much better than that this season and dropped points.
Some good individual performances - Mahrez, Foden and Gundogan.
Much better from KDB.
Some average performances - Dias, Laporte and Zin.
Some woeful performances - Bernardo, Fern.
Then there’s Kyle Walker. Fuck knows what category exists for his performance. If we conceded a goal from a Cancelo back-heel, the meltdown on here would be off the scale. I cannot understand a footballer as negative as him, doing back-heels in his own half. Won’t make a forward pass, but is doing back-heels in his own half. BACK-HEELS. Then stands and watches for the 2nd and somehow and for some reason moves AWAY from the guy with the ball, who puts it away. Awful.
John Moss - fat, useless, cheating ****.
I'll always love Pointon for giving it giggs at the swamp.Straight swap for Neil Pointon wasn't it when Kendall was determined to bring a lot of the then Everton squad to Maine Road ?
A fairly sizeable re-build? Seriously? You seen the average age of our squad??I think whatever happens this season there’s a fairly sizeable rebuild on the cards over the next 12 months. Tonight proved that in some ways. We’ll probably look back at Gundo’s goals in December and January as a pivotal point in the season.
Hats off to Mahrez as I was always against signing him but tonight proves he contributes significantly at key points in games.
Pep did say at the end of the game less rotation from now on, the players who are doing the business will play.Pep was pissed after the match. He finally had a go so thats 2 pens guaranteed for Fulham on sat.
On the game: Mahrez and Zin were fantastic. The midfield was still over run which is a concern. Far too many defensive changes caused instability and the mistakes crept in. I can see why he is trying to put Kev in the team but John , Dias , Zin and Cancelo is the stability that we need right now.
Pep is trying to keep them all happy and it is effecting us on the pitch but it’s his problem to solve. If at the end of the season we win multiple trophies It will be justified.
Anyway very welcome 3 points.
If this happens to Phil in a Champs League final or something I want him to hit the deck squealing like a pig. Being honest gets you nowhere I’m afraid. That non pen was one of the best moments Mike reilly and his band of bent cunts could have used it and said see we will give penalties for players trying to be honest
We all sit here slagging salad and martial off for diving. We'll do you know what that's what we should do if foden stays down screaming he gets a pen
I don't often level the cheating angle because it difficult to prosecute beyond all reasonable doubt but bugger me drunk that's as good as it gets I reckon and that's with my sky blue hat on believe me.can somebody not question the officials and VAR after night ? it could have cost city a fair 3 points
football should be fair for everybody and both teams shake hands and walk off. but when you see what happen tonight clear cheating by the officials that can not be defended by video
clearly they don't want city winning the league.. if they can get utd back in the title race by turning a blind eye to a stone wall pen and a sending off. then city will know after tonight we have to kill the game off as quickly as possible and take the officials out of the game ?
i leave you with this go and watch the game utd vs southampton then watch tonights game
clearly cheating is going on and the game is bent
"from my angle it looked like he got the ball first. He didn't? What colour shirt has the fouled player got on? - blue? - no pen! ".Yep. The whole communication should be "from my angle it looked like he got the ball first. He didn't? Well it's a pen and a card then". If it can't solve these then let's just go back to the ref not seeing it and saying they level out over the season.
I never think Ederson will save any

He was felled but got up quickly as a true professional he is.If this happens to Phil in a Champs League final or something I want him to hit the deck squealing like a pig. Being honest gets you nowhere I’m afraid.
Law changed so no sending off anymore in that instancethe keeper making a foul stopping a clear goal scoring attempt is a red card all day long
Exactly. I honestly don’t ”admire” Phil for his attempt at honesty, lol, as it’s blatant and if he went down even Moss wouldn’t have not given the initial pen, and I guarantee it wouldn’t have got overturned. If this happens to Phil in a Champs League final or something I want him to hit the deck squealing like a pig. Being honest gets you nowhere I’m afraid.
