Thought the same.
Very confident for a young keeper.
Must be hard to get motivated for a match knowing you're probably going to be on the losing side.
I don't think Ederson would have stopped any of our goals today.
Interesting decision for us if Southampton get relegated.
Will we take any of the buyback options on any of the 4 players we sold to Southampton ?

Lavia and Bazunu might have a chance if they continue to progress, and the former especially so if Phillips continues to be injury prone
Doubt Edozie and Larios will be good enough for us

According to the bbc we had 66% possession, it felt a lot more than that to me. Aside from 5 mins at the beginning and a bit at the end I don't remember Southampton touching the ball much.

We kept giving it back to them every time we scored

That's strange. He is reasonably quick, defends well, makes great forward passes and can run with the ball. What's his weakness ?

the thing you notice with big erl ,even when someone else scores hes always free in the box for those shots that are saved , and he always looks delighted whenever someone else scores

I thought were excellent. We constantly found space at the top of the pitch and were near perfect at the back.

I do, but I think that says more about what are heights are and how many years we can go through. I thought we were a bit flat in stages of the game, our press wasn't at its best, and that we were a bit casual with the ball. But I do think there's a bit of Pep perfectionism sneaking in there as well. I do agree we were good.
