That's a very negative view and I'm sure the club don't share your view. We have a bloody good track record of winning trophies no matter what odds we've had to overcome. It's not even November yet, Positive Mental Attitude required 8-)

It's not negative at all, it's realistic, we've done well but our thin squad just won't cope with the run of fixtures we have in November. It doesn't bother me one bit if we end the season trophyless, I'm not that entitled and think most of us will feel the same way.

4 aways on the trot, all of them long distance. Followed by another nonsensical international break.

Our squad is not that thin. So far we are coping well. And sooner rather than later KDB is back, Grealish is back, Walker and Doku should not be out for long, Oscar Bobb shall be somewhere half the way of his rehabilitation.

In the Premier League we are going to be in the title race. So far we know we stand in much better place than last season.

2023/2024:


And we have few really tough games behind as, like Arsenal and many away fixtures: Chelsea, West Ham, Wolves.

In the UCL i do not see a team that is out of our reach.

So why decide to be pessimistic? Because you calling something realistic does not mean its realistic. Talk facts first, then we can judge your realistic judgment.

I think this is a game to experiment with either Stones or Gvardiol as the pivot. What I’d like too see:-

My guess is Pep is managing the squad with that Nov run in mind. We should see all players back bar Rodri and Bobb. Maybe Bobb back on the reckoning around Xmas time

I'm never pessimistic but feel this is a season that will just be too tough for our thin squad, another injury to one of our senior players will test us. On Wednesday our only two unused subs were Carson and Eddie, that tells a story of its own.

We had four homes on the trot a while back its just the way things work out. The game against Spuds could just as easily be a home tie. Its just what it is and we will get on with it as we always do.

Gundo is the weakest link for me just now. I also dislike the way kovacic sometimes loses the ball then goes and gives the foul. I’d like to try gvardiol in a rodders role to see what happens.
