Made hard work of that with the team selection, and credit to Southampton they defended really well.

Bloody brilliant strike from Gonzalez though, a goal worthy of winning any game!

Hopefully we start Haaland, O’Reilly, Guehi, Doku and Semenyo in the final, and Rodri if he’s fit.

No need to have rested so many today when the next game isn’t until 4th May.

Was there and while they weren't creative they were certainly loud. A bit too mouthy outside the stadium but their support was great today cant have a go at them

Mate accusing Blues of being unhappy because we won is much worse than me posting Arsenal’s score, the team we are competing against for the title. If you can’t see the difference then it’s not my problem.

I hope you’re right about Foden. Has been brilliant. Unfortunately living in the past of what he did 3 years ago is no use to us at the moment. He needs to get it together again .
 
Pleased with the win but we made that really hard for ourselves, especially with the starting line up. Quite clear that some in that side are not currently near the standard/level we need...Foden was abysmal, not sure why Marmoush or Reijnders thought all their misses were so funny, I didn't.
Cherki was not at his best, lost the ball for their goal, didn't want to pass or cross into the box, trying to walk it into the net without shooting and then that ridiculous pass in the 96th minute that gave them another chance to hoof it forward. Love the guy but at times he is too flashy.
Too much sideways shit until Doku came on and looked to get the ball in the box.
Savinho is not good enough, no end product again.
Ake and Stones were very good considering their lack of game time. Nico G was decent. Kova was very good in the 1st half but couldn't last past 55 minutes. Nunes good as well, showed a lot of fight.
Great character to come back and win that against a stuffy but indescribably dull and unadventurous opposition, thank God we won't have to watch them throwing their arses around defending in the box again in the final...I think we have done football a favour.
 
Bet the melts were out in force on the match thread. Job done, another Wembley final, another record (first club to reach 4 consecutive finals) while the Arse laboured to a nervous 1-0 win. I feel another treble coming on.

Watched the last ten minutes of the Goon game , absolutely shitting themselves , Legohead doing a lap of honour when they won a throw-in , hilarious
 
Hard watch and feared the worst when the predictable worldy with their first chance goes in. Hats off to Nico for a wonder strike and the players kept going which got us out of the mire.

Worryingly, what the fuck has happened to Phil? He looks destroyed as a player. Also we can’t play a second striker once every few months (Marmoush) and expect anything other than what he gave today.
