Just how bad do you think we actually played?

Stats show you nothing. Saints allowed us to have the ball waiting for the counter break. Once again poor finishing and the other teams defence playing out of their skin cost us the points. An Aguero or a top striker would of scored one of our chances esp raz big miss.

He was certainly on the ball, and involved, more, but his lack of end result is troubling.

That said, the team’s lack of end result was not up to snuff, either.

Hit woodwork twice (KDB & Rodri) and missed two good headed opportunities (Laporte and Jesus), but not only did enough to win that game, but had key decisions stolen from us.

The penalty isn’t given because IT WAS A FOUL, BUT WAS OUTSIDE THE BOX…when anyone can see it was at least on the line!

Didn’t even get the foul!

The red card isn’t given because… well, can there be a good reason???

The resultant impact injury speaks for itself, and Old Ralphie boy knew it, because he yanked Armstrong off right quick!!

One more thing:

Danny Higginbotham does analysis over here and the other week, PRIOR TO THEM PLAYING, he said to watch Soton…after about 60-70 mins, they’ll have a player go down, get treatment on the field, and the team will go to the sideline for tactics, energy bars, gels & drinks and a few minutes rest! He was not saying they’re cheating, but they do it every game to get that break, get some instructions from the manager, and get a boost!

Sure enough, Armstrong went down, Physio came on, took over 3 mins and the players all went for a brew on the sideline!!

F’ing joke!

very good, same as i saw it.

a game where we had to play against everything and still got a deserved draw.

i will always say why on earth no foul for the KDB penalty shout. i dont care what the rules are that was a shit end result from a pen many teams would have got. Sort it out FA it was a load of rollocks that.

We are top of the league, how is that stat you weird man?

This mythical belief that Aguero didn't miss chances always amuses me, the man is rightly a legend but he did miss gilt-edged chances like most players do.

We drew a game get over it ffs.

It’s normal for a team to drop in form sometimes, we have this under control, but sterling’s performance was really catastrophic.

Sometimes in games teams with top strikers also miss chances and only score 1. Sometomes Aguero missed chances and didn’t score.
With a striker we might have scored more we might not. A striker may have scored the chance Sterling missed he might not or the chance may still have fallen to Sterling. All these things are complete guesses.

I guess you’re right

Just lost in mediocrity....
Right, we absolutely battered them in the second half and if var and the red had done their job then we would have taken all the points.

A poor do if the toys come out of the pram after a draw at a place the home team have only lost once all season and after we have just knocked up a 12 win streak.

Entitled?

Spoiled?
