Southampton post match thread

That's my review of the match.
 
I don't blame Pell. The players didn't give a fuck about this match. Sterling and Bony were absolutely terrible. I remember sometime around the 70th minute the announcer saying "that's the first time I've seen Bony run all day". Sterling looks VERY FAR from being match fit/back in his proper form. Otamendi at fault for a couple goals. Delph was TERRIBLE. Kolarov also terrible. Zab not good either. Nacho's goals were nice, but besides that he didn't play well either. He and Bony look lost out there in a 442.

Embarrassing performance from a group of professionals.
 
Thankfully that should be last we see of the second string players. Full strength team from here on in.

Absolute nonsense, I thought he ran around quite a bit (to no real effect though). He didn't have the best of games but he did seem to be trying and was no worse than many of the others.
 
Kolorov, Sterling, Bony, Delph...can just all fuck off. I love Zab but he can't just cut it anymore for us :(
 
Fucking shite. Kolarov is on his hols and would've single-handedly cost us the game if others hadn't chipped in for some blame.

Inspiring substitutions! Remeber to always wait for the 60 min mark and put in Demichelis expecting to win the midfield battle with his speed and agility.

Delph is one of the most unintelligent footballers I've seen in a City shirt...just runs around like a donkey.

Why is Bony starting? Why? Why? Fuck!
 
Sterling may have ability but he is a bottleless little twat. Shit house of a player not far off the levels of cowardice exhibited by bony and kolarov. Fuck off with the pellegrini send off thread as well please the man is a joke. I hope he does get another job in the premier league it will be a very easy 6 pts for us.

Honestly no idea why Patrick Roberts is on a 2 year loan at Celtic when Sterling keeps turning out shit like this.
 
We still had a lot of senior players on the pitch who were embarrassing.

Hart - didn't do much wrong but is senior enough to at least try to bollock the defence - he just watches them under perform
Nasri NEVER ever steps up when he needs to do
Zabba tried but every other defender was awful
Delph and Fernandinho looked like they'd not player for months
Sterling looks the biggest waste of money ever
Bony usual cr*p performance

Inheacho looked the business even playing alongside this lot
 
How much did we pay for Sterling?

He was the most overrated player in the premier league at Liverpool but has managed to become much much worse at City

It's like watching a frightened kid who's never kicked a ball in his life
 
I'm not excusing the players but it would have been nice for them to have been given a game plan.

If you go through that side, only Nasri can be considered to have been signed from a top club. The rest, especially forward players are either breaking through or have been signed from bang average PL sides.

Going away to a top half PL side with this starting 11 and no game plan is sheer negligence from the manager.
 
Pellegrini MOTM for Southampton.

Fuming is not the word that was an absolute shambles.

Nacho only player who didn't deserve to be on losing side. Always been a Pellegrini fan but I'm starting to really hate the guy. He won the lottery when he got this City job. What the @@@@ were those subs? Southampton causing us problems with pace through midfield so to fix it he takes off Fernandinho for Demichelis haha then he takes the only other DM off for a Winger.

We'll still make the top 4 I'm in no doubt but a bit of confidence needed to go into the Madrid game with was ripped away because of Pellegrini.

Hart - 6 nothing he could do.

Zaba - 6 gutted to say but he's done at City
Otamendi - 5 few decents tackles but that's it.
Mangala - 5 as above.
Kolarov - 1 absolute shite

Nasri - 6 no help
Fernandinho - 5 head was else where
Delph - 5 gave ball away to much
Sterling - 1 utter shit.

Bony - 6 Imo 1 of City's better players today had no service from Midfield.
Kelichi - 10 CLASS CLASS AND MORE CLASS.
 
The whole team played like that by being selected today, they are not up for selection on Wednesday, God forbid pulling up trees so he can't leave you out
