Southampton post match thread

Same shit players keep costing us goals. Kolarov is utterly wank at defending. He's just about a championship level left sided attacker, that's all.

Delph is not good enough.

Sterling is fucking awful at finishing.

Pep cannot come soon enough. Pellergrini has spent this season sat on his arse waiting for a moment of brilliance from Kun, Yaya or KDB to bail us out. With them missing, he's no plan b, no motivation and no clue how to instil a side with confidence and some fucking bollocks. I won't be sad to see Pellers go.

Iheanacho is fucking awesome though!!

People are expecting a miracle from Pep imo. He can't turn these guys into decent players.

I don't want to waste half a season playing with 9 or 10 men so we can get Sterling and Delph on form. They don't have it. Just send them to NYC or to anyone who'll take them.

Just release Bony, Kolorov, MDM and unfortunately Zabba.

Meh. Can't be bothered writing anymore.

It's a little easier to take if the team gave it everything with hearts, minds and muscle but a defeat born out of laziness, lack of passion, cluelessness and a completely unacceptably poor attitude make me absolutely livid.

Pellegrini is pathetic!

Iheanacho looks decent!

I don't know whether a top flight team has ever forfeited a game, but that felt like a 90 minute forfeit. Kelechi aside, the rest were embarrassing. I feel so sorry for the travelling fans. They deserve their money back.

Sterling looks like a terrified 12 year old playing in the Prem. Possibly the biggest waste of money ever.

I don't blame Pell. The players didn't give a fuck about this match. Sterling and Bony were absolutely terrible. I remember sometime around the 70th minute the announcer saying "that's the first time I've seen Bony run all day". Sterling looks VERY FAR from being match fit/back in his proper form. Otamendi at fault for a couple goals. Delph was TERRIBLE. Kolarov also terrible. Zab not good either. Nacho's goals were nice, but besides that he didn't play well either. He and Bony look lost out there in a 442.

Embarrassing performance from a group of professionals.

Picture Mark Hughes' face in the dugout or Frank Clark's or Alan Ball & ask yourself if you'd blame the manager then.

What this fucker has got away with because of his 'charming man' facade is fucking incredible.

I'm really surprised it hasn't passed the 200 page mark of pure rage at that disgraceful, woeful and lethargic performance. Looks like it will be Europa League football for us next season. Can't see us stringing 3 passes together never mind a couple of wins.
The woes of a City fan. [emoji20]

So, basically only 4 of the team today I can hand on heart say they 100% deserve to wear the shirt. 7 either don't or need to prove it. That's why we've been dicked today.
Agree 100%

If we lose next week, Pellegrini will have the best send off ever....40,000 empty seats. After our start this season it's criminal allowing it to get to this point

Win 4 games and it's our best season ever.

We know a lot of the old guard and those on display need to go and they will. Onwards and upwards.
The next week is pivotal. If we fuck it up, Manuel will be pilloried and rightly so but some of those players are a disgrace. We're cutting it fine now. Thank God the rags didn't win earlier.

We still had a lot of senior players on the pitch who were embarrassing.

Hart - didn't do much wrong but is senior enough to at least try to bollock the defence - he just watches them under perform
Nasri NEVER ever steps up when he needs to do
Zabba tried but every other defender was awful
Delph and Fernandinho looked like they'd not player for months
Sterling looks the biggest waste of money ever
Bony usual cr*p performance

Inheacho looked the business even playing alongside this lot

I know he's a hero but that assessment of Zabba is way off the mark. He was fucking awful, and it didn't look like he tried. Only Hart and Nacho can say that.

Honestly no idea why Patrick Roberts is on a 2 year loan at Celtic when Sterling keeps turning out shit like this.
Nobody could tell me that Roberts wouldn't be able to make more of an impact on a game than Sterling
