Also if England could toy with the opponents like Spain did with France in the final 20 minutes, I would applaud it.Our fans would be going ballistic if we played like how Spain have this second half, sideways passing, pass, pass, back to the goalkeeper. Time waste. Sit deep.

I wasn’t knocking it, that’s what you got to do at times - Spain time wasted, rolled around on the floor holding their faces, sat deep and were lucky France ballooned so many chances. That’s just how you have to play at times to win.
