Ha Ha - keep your fingers crossed and pray Barcelona are the team we all think them to be.
Oh I will anyway, best team to beat the rags for a start.

That's what i'm hoping for too, Tolm! Another couple of drubbings should do the trick.

I think the league is beyond him. Copa De Rey, don't think Real heirachy give a shit about that.

But it's interesting for me how Jose was trying to emphasise what an achievement and that it was eight years since they reached the Champs League semis.

That tells me it's shit or bust.

Even in his first year at Inter, Jose was able to deliver trophies and buy himself more time.

I agree, it's all on the CL semi.

I wouldn't put it past him to go out and shut them out and nick a win second leg.

But if there was any side I'd want to hang my hat on in this scenerio it would be Barca. No Carvalio either for the first leg.

I so want Barca in the final. What they would do to scum on that Wembley pitch, gives me goosebumps.

They fooked em on a big pitch in Rome, and they won't make the same mistake twice.

They felt it was their destiny last year to play the final and win at the Bernabeu.

Jose stopped them - he won't this time!

Is the language used talking about City as compared to Ronaldo all it seems?

Tolm, DD The PM I sent to you a few days ago is now fully in play and it seems obvious what the game is to me.

There is undoubtedly a very, very specific route being taken but will the Real board play the way we all want?

(and this is perfectly timed to keep my mind busy as well)

He's be an idiot to be pubically touting himself around when the season is reaching it's climax, fbloke. I reckon he's done all that and now we have to see which way the balls drop. But no doubt a drubbing from Barca is in City's interests...

Can't understand why people seem to think there is a problem, 4th in the league, F.A. cup semi, ffs what more do you want? Or shall we just roll back to the 3rd division.

Mourinho was never going to happen ,he will step into Fergusons shoes.
No point in him coming to us as after 1 or 2 defeats he would have lost the dressing room, driven players out, nobody likes him,Milner will not like him because someone told me,be a clueless idiot, not really achieved much, ruining our club, etc etc etc etc
Funny to see the usual names turn every thread into an anti Mancini thread and let everyone know just how knowledgable they are FFS
As said 4th in league semi final of FA cup semi final Lge cup, were rubbish
Get a grip.

Me manage City, thats unpossible.

If nothing else it will be funny watching Didsbury Dave squirm like a baby when Mourinho is installed as the new United manager in a couple of years.

Seriously, the Mourinho love in on here recently has been embarrassing and this should put an end to it. Obviously it won't but some people are going to look very stupid!

Finally, all this 'Mourinho is the best manager in the world' talk is ridiculous. Comparing Fergie's achievements to Mourinho'sis like comparing Frank Sinatra to Justin Bieber!

Should Mourinho, as you say, hold out for United.

All City fans will be squirming like babies. As it will mean we missed the boat and we can sit back and watch United maintain their winning dominance.

That's a fact.

Or are you telling me Jose is Mr average and United have reached a decision to take a back seat by appointing him?

Good enough for them, but not good enough for us, what the fuck is all that about.

No it isn't.

He's hardly cantering to the La Liga title and a 5-0 thrashing by Barca is hardly 'dominance' or even an improvement on Real's recent performances against Barca.

Mourinho subject on here is laughable, a load of people get their bollocks out, swing them around, then nothing happens and they 'laugh' at others who question them when they say Mourinho will come; just wait until the next summer, or next summer or the summer after that...

-- 14 Apr 2011, 12:52 --

We've all seen it before; people give ambiguous, non commital answers, standard cliche's or simply refuse to answer, if the ball is already moving.

In this case he's categorically denied it. "Impossible"... why would he be so definite if he'd been speaking to us or whatever already?

Why wouldn't he just run the stadnard; "My future is in England, where i don't don't know, City have an exciting project but i'm Manager of Real Madrid and that's all i'm concentrating on."

Doesn't rule it out, doesn't create any negative press for either City or Madrid and if anything develops the door has publically been left open to ensure it doesn't hit us or them on the arse.

So... Know-it-all Dave is 'hopeful' rather than 'confident'.

Interesting.

whats with all the sniping and cheap shots going on in this forum?

If you don't know '38DD' and I have had a wager based on his absolute certainty that RM will not be manager come kick off, next season. In lieu of Mourinho's quote, my post above was in reference to it.

There's no swearing going on. Why so sensitive?

Great post. It's like all these posters with fingers in Mourinho's pie think they're some kind of football genius' because they want Mourinho in. Some of us are happy enough looking forward to this weekend and the rest of the season before worrying about what might happen with the current Real Madrid manager!
