No. If the course leader suspected anything such as illicit recording, anyone mucking about on a mobile phone or tablet, he would dismiss you from the courseCould you turn your webcam off and walk away?
Having another go at the scousers, are we?90% of the people on those are arrogant twats who know everything and haven't done anything wrong in the first place...
A useful stop-gap until the pubs re-open.Those courses certainly bring together a melting pot of social classes sitting uncomfortably together for a few hours.
I passed my test in 1974. so my Highway Code is still in Latin. I've just checked on t'interweb, and the stopping distances appear to be the same as they were then. This is despite the fact that, when the Highway Code was introduced, most cars had drum brakes and ran on cross ply tyres. Since then, most cars have a servo assisted braking system on disc brakes, with radial tyres, and also ABS, EBD, etc. Tyre technology has also improved dramatically over that time.Is their stopping distance still based on cars with no anti lock brakes?
What this has to do with speeding courses is, at best, tenuous, but with modern technology, it's never been so easy to slow down and stay within the speed limit. :-)
Good man! Have you got cruise control as well? I use mine all the time, but then I'm in no rush to go anywhere these days.Since I did my speed awareness course, I purchased a 2L turbo, so the temptation was to speed even more. However, the one thing I took away from my course was flicking my auto into manual and letting the gears restrict my speed to the limit (or thereabouts.) Not been caught in the new car yet!
