Speed awareness course

On the unrestricted areas the advice is 120kph and if you're exceeding that and have an accident, no matter how the accident has occurred, you are partly responsible

So doing 231mph driving one handed and with a camera in the other is not considered a good idea?

Is that a diplomatic way of saying you caught nits and scabies and had your pocket picked?
I turned up with a hangover (walked there btw) and hadn’t shaved for four days (only shave when I have to) so I’m sure one or two of the bourgeois housewives were looking down their nose at me, the state I was in!

Is that latin for ****? I did a speed awareness course once and by the end wished I'd just taken the fucking points. An hour where we all had to say what we'd done, which most people seemed to treat as a retrial or appeal - I was the only one there who admitted they deserved it. Then another two hours of being patronised to death and made to feel like a murderer. Only thing I learned was how dangerous it is to stop / breakdown on the hard shoulder for any length of time.
As I said, my course was run over Zoom and lasted just over two hours. There wasn't any questions asked of why were we speeding or did we have any remorse
It was nearly all educational starting with how you should know the speed limit within 20 seconds of being on a road

I had one on bank holiday Monday just gone. Its a lot quicker / less of a pain fest on zoom that onsite

I did one with Cheshire police and Fire Brigade about 6 years ago.
The real life cases with photos are enough - you just have to imagine what happened to the people.
Two elderly couples going for a drive in the Peak District on a Sunday. Two ladies in the back when the car was hit by something big. Two ladies shot forward and effectively head butted their husbands. All four killed. It could have been my mum dad aunt and uncle.
A pic of a car under a lorry roof gone. The guy was telling his wife soon to be widow he would be home in two minutes.
It struck home very hard even discounting points and fine avoided.

Could you turn your webcam off and walk away?
