I would not go if it replaced the EPL for a number of reasons including the effect it would have on the rest of football as well as fact I am already bored of champs league group stages and no relegation would be terrible.

Depends

If it replaces us being in the prem and champs league but still in the domestic cups, I will go the cup games
If it replaces the champs league only, I will give it a miss but continue with my season card for the league and cup games.
If it if it is the only comp we are in I would be done, but I would hate to miss city altogether.

Honestly thplough I would probably be tempted to go anyway for the reason above, as would hate to not go city I would have to think hard.

Or I may just check results and do random local lower and non league games for a football fix

I think the I'm not supporting city vibe is the same as the not going vibe, supporting a football club is like the yakuza, mafia and catholic church, you can stop following them but you can never leave

It's sad that the PL teams are letting greed drag them into this, as they are the ones who really don't need this. Bayern need it as they've crippled their league, same for Real and Barca, while PSG never really had a league to cripple in the first place. The Italian teams want in because the Milan teams have been mismanaged so badly they'll struggle to ever become competitive again, essentially ruining the league for Juve, as no one wants to see them win every year.

The PL are the only ones who have a functioning, thriving, profitable league. It's been the envy of all the others for years, but the "big" clubs have all been taken over by leeches who just want more and more money and frankly don't give a shit about football. So they are all up for doing whatever will make more money. My sense is that we really wouldn't be that in favour of this as we are thriving in the current system, but have to band with them in case it actually happens, as being left out would be pretty crippling.

The whole thing is just fucking hideous though, a blatant cash grab from the owners of the historical elite. It has absolutely nothing to do with football and everything to do with money and they don't give a shit how badly it fucks up every other league.

Yet west ham v burnley has been a good game to watch, the premier league suffer more from ****s like Mike Ashley more than the format, also for the last 5-6 years it has opned up more at the top rather than the stale 4 that dominated the 90s.

Does anyone seriously think any new cash cow league won't still be engineered in favour of real, bayern, scousers rags and barca to please global audiences, we may have a seat at the top table, but the same wanker clubs that don't like us now being there will not change because of a new poncy elite league.

Also if it does replace the champs league and the prem remains the same what right does Milan, have to be in it over Napoli or Roma.

It's complete bollocks, but let it happen will save me a few quid on a midweek game tickets as I won't be bothered with it.

Milan should be nowhere such a set-up. They have done fuck all and gone seriously downhill whilst believing that they have a god given right to be with the elite . Just another has-been club with delusions of grandeur .

Suerly this will be a mid-week league,to replace the ECL. It’s pretty much certain which clubs qualify for ECL anyhow So,in my view, an elite European league is better than the current elite ECL with group stages that are largely irrelevant, it only comes into its own when the knockout rounds start. If however it replaces the domestic league then I’m dead against
