Ajay, if you are close to the action, couldn't you let us know when he is really close to signing, you know just before the press get hold of anything? or are you not going to risk it?

It is indeed, but Valencia are forcing the issue......... our bid, as reported by spanish media 2 weeks ago is on the table, however it got lost in translation and every1 presumed it was chelsea, i've had numerous conversations with people on here over this time, and a bid was lodged for 37m, real tried to get him on the cheap so to speak, and bad blood still exists over a failed Ayala bid a few years back. Of course he'd rather go Barca, so this meeting between us and them is to speed up the eto process for next week.
