Sporting CP (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

If Stones has a serious problem with Planter fasciitis we may not be seeing him anytime soon. It’s debilitating and there’s no way to speed up recovery. Basically it’s a bastard injury.
Yes, a friend of mine had this. She had injections in the foot but it took a long time to go away.

I was trying to think back to when a Pep substitute made any impact on a game . Bobb at Newcastle last season.
We regularly see other teams launching their bench of eager athletic subs to turn the game.

Logically thinking, we’ve just lost our first league game in 11 months and completed an all time record unbeaten CL run - there haven’t been a lot of times where we’ve been desperate for a sub to turn a game.

agreed, i have it myself and it comes and goes whenever it feels like. Can make walking horrifically painful, let alone playing high intensity sport.

Bit harsh. He was very good in the 1st half. Superb pass to Haaland who slashed it well wide. Penalty was stupid though. Not our worst player on the night by a long shot.
Inconsistent.....we don't know what we're going to get 9/10 or 4/10, good to great players rarely drop below 8/10.

He's not yet 'run' a game for us but has done OK in his cameo left wing role.

We need more, more often where ever he plays.

He certainly doesn't like any physical stuff.

Make or break season.

James McAtee mustn't be trusted or isn't impressing in training which is even more disappointing if true.
