Although sky went on and on about Wellbeck, I thought that Phil Jones was top notch. IMO better than Ferdinand with his energy, pace and passing ability.

Also, Young is making Nani look shite.
Jones does look the business.
As for Nani, he's 'just a shit Michael Jackson' hahaha, was quality that by the Spuds fans!

Dunno if it's just the way the youth lads play together, but the one touch passing stuff looks like they learned a lesson or 2 in the champions league drubbing at wembley.

Welbeck, by far, had the most astute 'footballing brain' (hate that term). Probably learnt most of this with Gyan while at Sunderland. A clever footballer is Asamoah Gyan. Although, his ability doesn't completely reflect that.

A quality that is overlooked when judging a player. Anderson for example is a good footballer but when you look in his eyes all you see is the other side of the pitch. I see Welbeck as a good thrid striker who can be deployed in two or three attacking positions and can contribute without scoring a lot of goals, but he has a long way to go and I don't really see him ever being a 20 goal a season type striker.
