Spuds vs rags

Why would Spurs 'roll over'? What have they got to achieve from that?
They are a poor side being beaten by a much better side who have at least 2 gears left. We should beat Spurs as comfortably as United have tonight, no reason why not other than them being at home but we've gone to a tough place in the Reebok, played shit hot and come away with a win. From what i've seen Bolton are better than Spurs, so on that basis we have nothing to worry about, especially not some po-faced conspiracy theory that they roll over against United! I mean really?!

I have seen absolutely nothing so far to suggest anything other than us and United going toe-to-toe for the title from about February onwards, if not before.
Don´t kid yerself 2 gears left - they were at full throttle start to finish which is what told in the end - Spuds didn´t have the energy or nouse to match it 2nd half. Scum will struggle to play at that tempo for too long

Mata and Modric at Chelsea may have something to say about that.

Exactly. Long way to go. Big game for us this weekend. No matter which way you look at it United were good tonight, even though they were up against a poor team. We need to concentrate on the weekend and really put ourselves up there early on.

Not to mention Doyle and Henry at Wolves -)

That was well said. I don't know how people can for one minute believe Spurs roll over for United. Untied are a better team than them and that is why they get beaten. The same applies when Blackburn play United, they don't roll over, they're just not as good.

Nah, they will have a say who finishes 3rd or 4th. No-one will be near us and United come February.

Maybe 'Arry Redknapp will now realise he should have concentrated on his actual team instead of knobbing about picking a Fantasy football team with Jeff Stelling pre-season. Idiot.

They've got more in the locker for sure. Didn't need to get passed 3rd tonight, Spurs were that poor.

Once again earlier on inthis thread people writing off United's chances for the title looking at their team on paper. When will people learn?

United have a skillful, pacey, young attacking side. Anyone who dosen't think they'll be a threat need to have a word with themselves.

You'll probably get called a rag now for not wanting everything United to die. Not off Liam I might add, in general.
