Appeared on sky sports news during a Sunday league feature around the introduction of rolling subs. I was shown getting my fat arse dragged off the pitch.
 
The name of my step-uncle’s band was on the cover of the second ever edition of Kerrang magazine in 1981 alongside Black Sabbath and Van Halen.

He was the roadie and back-up guitarist.

That has to be the most tenuous claim to fame possible, surely?
 
The lead singer of late 1970's rock band Marquis de Sade helped me build a house in the middle of nowhere, Spain.
They were usually supporting acts for the big boys and he told us a few ' stories ' They disbanded early 80's but are back again now....their music wasn't to my liking but he was a great bloke. Spent many a day in hospital together.
