Amazing the PL has allowed all the inconvenience for other clubs too, Spurs should have been docked this game 3-0, genuinely believe if it was, say Huddersfield, doing this they would just be docked the game.

Simply not true. As to awarding City a 3-0 win, not a chance that other clubs would have agreed to it.

Very true. Definitely playing well below the standards of recent seasons - both in attack and defence. I can't think of a genuinely impressive or enjoyable performance yet this season. Seems that the World Cup hangover; the lack of squad depth; and the deflating disappointment of the stadium delay are collectively having a detrimental effect. And given that your lot are in great form and beat us comfortably twice last season, I'd be pleasantly surprised by a different outcome this season.
 
I do wonder if Spurs could be in difficulties here in the (unlikely - it isn't going to be that bad) event that a player was injured due to the pitch. Pochettino raised exactly that concern over the admittedly far worse Spotland pitch, which I would have thought might create insurance problems if that came to pass. They would struggle to hold the line that they'd done all in the power to ensure it was entirely fit for football.

Don't have to be one Just watched the Chris Cowlin stadium updates weekly to see that there was no chance that the stadium was ever going to be ready and Levy is such an underhanded swine to see it was clear that he pull a fast one. Even the "worlds biggest club shop" which Chris claimed was going to be open months ago has only just opened. Good job a trophy cabinet is not required. As an aside the stadium is magnificent, probably the best in Europe by a mile, but I feel that it is over specified, eg tiling the loos, and judging by the cost a big mistake, that will be a major financial burden on the club for decades. A huge gamble by Levy if, the club don't win trophies soon it could all go to shit

Chris Cowlin's videos are great but you can't really get any idea as to a stadium's readiness from shots of its exterior. The vast majority of the work that remained at the time of the announcement of the delay was cosmetic - mostly the "veil". And it was always expected that there would still be much to complete at the stadium for months after its opening.

Since the announcement of the delay, work on the project has been slowed dramatically. Very little overtime work where, before, crews were working through the night; and far fewer workers on site in general. Also, as a consequence of the delay, Spurs have brought forward some elements of the project that were scheduled for next summer (among them, properly landscaping around the stadium as opposed to the temporary measure of tarmac). I can only reiterate what I said weeks ago - that the club and Mace were wholly confident of opening for the Liverpool game on 15th September. This information comes from a number of very well placed sources both within Spurs and Mace. Having worked so hard for so long and spent so much on overtime to get the stadium ready in time, they were all totally crestfallen when the safety systems bombshell landed.

Spurs will undoubtedly have to manage their finances prudently over the coming years. But they always do anyway. The club's announcement the other day revealed net debt of some £360m and profits for the last financial year of £160m. Given that most of the big ticket items on this build will already be included in that net debt, it shouldn't rise too massively from this juncture. And if profits continue at even a third of last year's level, Spurs should find little difficulty in both servicing and paying off the debt over a respectable period.

As an interesting but of info, I know that spurs paid Rochdale a fortune for the spotland pitch to be relaid using some sort of special grass from abroad - Rochdale then bought a standard one from over here and pocketed the difference.
