Spurs (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

I was watching a youtube repeat of the last 10 minutes of the Villa 3 2 end of season game from only 18 months ago.
There were only 3 starters, Rodri, Foden, Dias on last nights starting team that also finished in the Villa match.
Obviously the likes of DeBruyne, Ederson, Stones would normally be starters but the turnover of players like Zinchenko, Gundogan, Cancelo, Sterling, Laporte etc hasn't affected us as much as you think it should.
It's the design & quality of parts used in the well oiled machine & the driver what's most important.

We've got Pep Guardiola, the best driver ever imo. He's put his system in place & City have instilled his ethic right across CFG in all age groups & genders, which has created a global sporting monster.

What frightens the G14 & Spuds is we've still got ample scope for improvement.

We still haven't got the LB we deserve, nor the competition for Rodri we require. We've not replaced Mahrez & KDB & Walker are entering the twilight of their careers.

Doku is still settling in, Bobb is developing & Foden is just starting to come into his own. Given the ages of Julian & Haaland, we've got a lot to look forward to, but we've still got a load of evolving to do too.

From Sheikh Mansour, to Khaldoon, Soriano, Txiki to Pep Guardiola, we've as good a top team as ever assembled in world football imo.
