Haaland is not the problem ? its Pep letting his once unbreakable guard slip down

Having a couple of days off right bang right in the middle of a big game in the title races ? Family matters ok i could understand it, but being at a rally, a political rally ? That's not right
Absolutely . We'll said. I love Pep but it is completely unprofessional for him before a PL game not to be there to prepare the team before a game. I'm all for him speaking at a political rally but it is bad behaviour and not normal at managerial level in the PL. Before a game ? Pep Lijnders has prepared the team very well for this game today and deserves credit for it. But Pep Guardiola has let the side down by his own standards and the club's. We need a prompt decision from him if he is going to leave at the end of the season or sooner or not at all.

No he didn’t. Why? Because he’s human and his service is non existent right now.
He’s also inhuman and has a record for us and his entire career any club would want a player to boast those stats

But yeah, fuck him. Some one this forum don’t know what day it is. Dumb

Yes he’s human and played shite and didn’t seem interested or wasn’t capable of making things happen, so take him off and change things!

Pep is or was a winner ? you saying it's not Pep

Look, Pep is untouchable, rightly so with his record at City, but winners don't become comfortable at losing or taking 2nd best from their players. We are not talking about 6 to 10 games here, its will be nearly 2 seasons and some very bad performances and not all down to injury crises

The team today was just about the best starting 11 we have had for 2 years, We were 2.0 up to Spurs and their fans were turning on them, and we dont come out ??

Pep should be locking the dressing room door and not letting anybody out until midnight ? even in the post match interview, sorry i would be spitting and screaming ? We are talking about a team 2nd in the title race with a chance to go 4 points behind and you roll over
Apparently pep said we played well?? I was that disgusted with us 2nd half I turned it off at full time

We were looking good and things were positive until Dias, Gvardiol, and Gonzalez all got injured in the space of a few days. We were 1-0 up against Chelsea when Dias and Gvardiol went. It's been up (in the cups) and down (in the league) since then. Hopefully Dias and Gonzalez coming back alongside Guehi can steady the ship again.

For all Khusanov is great at the basics of defending, his shortcomings are exposed when we're in possession. And as much as Rodri is absolutely a legend who deserves patience, he's clearly nowhere near ready yet to play as a lone six. Everything runs through that bit of the pitch for us, defensively and offensively, and it's been stretched thin in recent weeks.

Donnarumma; Nunes Dias Guehi O'Reilly; Gonzalez Bernardo Semenyo Cherki Doku; Marmoush. Let's give that a try for a few games. Let Haaland and Foden have an extended break until we can work out what the fuck's gone wrong with them, give Rodri some time out. We were building something good between October and December. We can find it again.

Yes, because I knew we weren’t great, we were grinding out results. I never for one minute thought we’d win the title or the chumps this season, we will be lucky to pick up a Carabao.

The football we play, IN THE MAIN, is fucking dull, side to side shite.

Search back through my posts if you are so inclined, you won’t see any from me getting carried away even when we were winning a few.

I do think the Premier League teams are changing and adapting to ways of playing and winning against ball-playing teams. It used to be getting caught on the break that City and Pep struggle with, but now it's powerful midfield players running and outpowering us

Our energy and power are missing; we look beaten after 20 minutes at times, even when retaining the ball, we look like giving it away because our touch is missing ? How many times do you see a City player with the ball at his feet hold on to it and then lose it, I don't think in the past 10 years many players hold onto long enough to lose it like this season

This was disappointing, especially given Spurs’ current situation. The atmosphere was strange today, their fans felt really apathetic. In the first half we should have put the game to bed. We played some really good combination football at times but eased off, could have been three or four goals up.

Cherki was outstanding, silky and intelligent on the ball, with a great feel for the game. I don’t think Haaland and Semenyo together is a great balance, but when you have someone like Cherki alongside them it can work. The problem is when you take him off and the replacements are Reijnders who’s still settling and a low confidence Foden. You just can’t replace that level of control and creativity.

On top of that, we have so many injuries. Doku is out, Diaz out, Rodri has only just returned, Gonzalez is coming back from injury, Gvardiol is injured, Savinho is out. When you’re in a transition like this and lack cohesion, those missing relationships matter more.

Yes, it’s frustrating in the context of the title race, but I’ll take a point away at a ground we traditionally struggle at. The focus now is on regrouping and moving forward. Liverpool will be tough next week but if we get a few key players back and learn from today, there’s every chance we can get a result Anfield especially given how inconsistent they’ve been this season.

The reaction from some people has been completely ott. Calling for Pep to leave is ridiculous and out of touch. It was a draw away, not a disaster. We should support the team, especially with a cup semi final coming up and hopefully a final after that.

Same old storey, play well first half, score, miss chances, particularly Erling, 2nd half, didnt play, opponents score & we struggle, drop points

It’s because you are CONSTANTLY negative & sound somewhat immature. Tell me again - do you watch the games on TV or do you actually go to matches? If so, where do you sit?
I go in 015 or 016. Only been to Leverkusen and Wolves this season

Another passive, half hearted shit 2nd half against a poor side. Yet again we don't handle opponents changing tactics.

Just read that City have yet to score a goal in any Premier league game in 2026. Can't see that changing next Sunday unless they let us have a consolation goal!
I think what you heard was the nobhead on comms saying we've failed to score away in the premier league in 2026.
What the sad sap Peter Dreary failed to mention was that 2026 is only 4 weeks old and that we've only played 2 away games.
Not like sky sports to try and highlight us in a negative way is it.

Can we get ferna flown over for one of his group chats?
Think we’re beyond that unfortunately.
Think we can all agree our biggest problem is the lack of work ethic and our mentality.
To me it looks like the players aren’t playing for Pep.
So as I’ve said before Khaldoon should get the players in room, without Pep and they need to be asked ‘have you stopped playing for the manager?’
If the answer is no then they need to told in no uncertain terms that they need to start showing it.
They also need to be told that these levels of performance are unacceptable.
If the answer is yes then Pep needs to go unfortunately, but while be noted that these players have thrown our greatest ever manager under the bus.
If the decision has already been made, which also looks likely then we need to be told.

It needs to be cleared up about the future of Pep at City
He signs a new contract or leaves

The players' performances today say he's leaving and they have given up in the league title race
its now all on the Champions League or both Cups to send Pep off with silverware
