Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

It could be Ironic if the Rags lose against WBA. After spoiling our party last week , they were so joyous , Media , fans etc.
So by losing to WBA - City win the league..............Bring it on
That would be so funny Ive had rags at work saying wed bottle it after losing to spurs

So proud of this team. Tonight felt really emotional, some really nice touches like Yaya coming on and then the scenes with Pep the players and the fans. We had a tough week where I felt down as I’m sure the rest of us did including the players but we’ve shown why we will be crowned champions tonight and it feels fuckin ace to shove in the face of everyone who doubted us. Fuck the media and pundits were Man City and we fight to the end! To everyone going next week we really need to give the boys the atmosphere they deserve, show them how proud we are, wear your colours, bring your flags and bananas and give it our all coz they have give it us all season and it will feel so good when the league is finally ours

is that Dave in a dress or my hormones deceiving me?

The officials are even stranger.
Look, even the best teams of all time dip in a season and we had a relative dip in the first leg but were also ripped off by the ref. Second leg we bossed it for over an hour and got ripped off by the ref. We are a better team than Liverpool and our league position proves it. They will be our main challengers next season, when we will emerge as a better team than this year. I like this gradual, organic improvement. Sometimes things are worth waiting for. The Ronaldo/Messi era is close to a turning point - they can't go on at this level forever - time catches up with every player - even those guys. Will be interesting to see how they cope with the rigours of playing into their 30s - we haven't seen anything like this before. Other players like Kevin will close in to join the ultra elite. In my view, we're moving towards the Kevin, Mbappe, Neymar and maybe Salah era with Jesus knocking on the door. Hazard is not at the right club to join that elite at this stage of his career. Madrid will probably come sniffing around for those two. We will have told Madrid to fuck off in advance of any interest in our players.

The only place this exists is on the scum cafe. NO city supporter subscribes to any such organisation
Ok maybe it was an exaggeration putting it in those words and the vast majority of us disagree completely with them. But some consistently doubt his whole philosophy and his ability as a coach at the first signs of difficulty especially when we lose. "Peps been found out by Klopp" or "Pep wont be able to deliver the CL like our owners want" and so on seems to me to be questioning whether we do want to keep him as our coach for as long as possible.

Perhaps they are rags hoping Pep leaves when you put it that way though. :)

Thought Raz was outstanding tonight. He never missed a chance. Rather spurs were bang on deffending against him. Just a toe was all that was needed to deflect his shots. Cant wait for next season, the lad will learn off pep. He will end up our top scorer. Trust me.

well said , all weve heard all week and today from the media and pundits is how 'vulnerable' our defence are , 'soft underbelly' 'can be got at' , similar to the start of the season when all and sundry telling anyone that would listen that our defence is our weakness yet we still have the best defensive record...feck em

Gundog back at Wembley after his goal against the Rags in CL Final 2009..........played well tonight. He must love Wembeeers.
Don't think that happened did it ? Ot have I missed some jok. He scored against Bayern in the final in 2013 so guess the loving Wembley still stands.
