Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

24 POINTS out of 30 against the Top 6. Brilliant. Double over Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

That was a nice touch on Sky by one of those wankers about "The old questions about whether city can hold a lead against the big clubs...."...

Huge, huge win. 3-1 away to spurs at any point in the season is a massive result, to do it under the pressure we were experiencing makes it even sweeter. Didn't give them an inch and totally dominant throughout.
KDB and Silva absolutely masterful, as usual. Well done City showed some balls there.

I would’ve taken a draw prior to the game. We were surprisingly good though, despite the absence of Fernandinho and Aguero.

Great result! If United lose against West Brom tomorrow, or against Bournemouth on wednesday, we are champions before the swansea game

If united draw either game, they can only equal our current points... so effectively it’s over.

Well done gundogan
Also sterling
I think he knows and hurts snd really cares
That’s enough for me
Think his finishing sometimes hides the excellent footballer he is

Fernandinho needed the rest...i'd let him have another one next week. I love the guy, but he's looked out of it in the past few games and it's completely understandable.

Are we all calm now? Had a brief look at the match thread at half time and had a chuckle, apart form 19 mins where they got a lucky goal we played them off the park, great subs as well from the bald headed genius

A great first 30 minutes, wobbled a bit after, mainly because of raheems finishing. Delighted with 3 points , now let's get it over next Sunday
We didn’t wobble because of Sterling’s finishing. We wobbled because we stood off too often, gave away possession to easily and made fouls that were unnecessary.
Fucking joker.

Fantastic decision by pep to go to 3 at the back.
Sane was entering a period of ineffectiveness and they couldn't cope with two up front when the switch was made. Not to mention we looked very solid defensively when Otamendi came on
All round great performance

He’s banned for two games anyway, isn’t he?

Well done, boys.

Great result when so many doubted you (me included).

That’s 7-2 against Spurs this season, so fuck off, you London-based media darlings!

Hard to pick a MotM, as there were several very good performances, including Vinnie, Aymeric and Raheem, but I went with Merlin.
