Mendy and Walker are the worst footballers in our squad and a pitch like that tonight will not get the best out of them. They were both, granted, very poor though.

But there were some very erratic passes and decisions from a number of players tonight. Kun was well below par, Sterling bar his goal was all over the shop, David has an open net for a tap in and passed it backwards, Bernardo went missing in spells, Laporte was my MOTM and he went walking for a header he got under in the first half which led to their chance, Mahrez nearly cost us a goal, Kev looked well off the pace when he came on... and a lot of these things had nowt to do with the pitch.


But Ederson, Stones, Laporte (bad that header), Fernandinho and when Bernardo got involved and Mahrez on the whole we’re all excellent.

tbf it wasn't a dig, he sounded quite proud that we do it, after all sir alkies rags teams were masters at it.

Jamie though and his no player he could think of that would get in the prems great teams was pure bollocks
 
Silva scored his one and only free-kick on a day when absolutely everything was going for him. Tonight, the moment Aguero was scythed down (no booking for Dier?), I fully expected Mahrez to take the lead and get his second. Never understood 'seniority' on the pitch.

3 very lucky points my arse...they had 1 ( one) shot on target...
We could and should have had a couple more..Kun missed a great chance..Silva missed a good chance. and lamela missed a good chance for them.
Nothing lucky about it..we were in control of the game and all they had was kicking it high and hoping for a lucky bobble off a shite pitch.
Laporte,Stones,Eddie,and Bernie were fantastic.
Ref was fucking awful again ..how many times did he let them foul us and give fuck all but couldn't wait to book our players.
3 excellent points on a crap pitch against a good team.
Best of all no injuries either.
We are top of the league ..as we should be
