He’s right though and he also said it as a compliment. Since Pep arrived we do tactical fouling better than other team, it’s something we didn’t do for years and cost us. I hate to admit it but Carragher and Neville have been miles more complimentary about our performance tonight than most on here !

To be fair,although he’s a rag,he’s waxing lyrical over our resilience in defence and just snuffing out opposition set pieces,going on about small players but every time the ball came in Laporte and stones cleared called it phenomenal defending..

We deserved to win. Fern, the two silva, Mahrez and Stirling all great. Eddie fantastic. What can you say about Laporte and Stones. They are by far the best centre backs in the Premier League. Less said about our fullbacks in this game the better. 7 points away from home against ‘so called competition’ is fabulous.

Brilliant performance until David and Sterling missed that sitter, should have gone on and got 3-4 if that goes in. Nervy 2nd half after that but fair play 2 the defence for digging in. Big win!
