Silva scored his one and only free-kick on a day when absolutely everything was going for him. Tonight, the moment Aguero was scythed down (no booking for Dier?), I fully expected Mahrez to take the lead and get his second. Never understood 'seniority' on the pitch.

I did too and when Mahrez walked away I thought it was going to be a quick pass to the side, it was too close to the box plus the size of the Spurs wall to get the ball up and over and then on target.
