Not the prettiest win but as we know these victories against the top six, especially away, mean so much come the end of the season. Arsenal, Dippers, and Spurs out of the way. Just Chelsea and Bournemouth left.

Yea! he could’ve ended lamela’s career .
Funny part was when he was swinging his arm half way through he immediately realized and tried his best to behave .
Happens all the time when your heart rate is pumping on over drive . Human stuff.

A win and a clean sheet, on that pitch playing like that;

Fucking hell I’d have snapped your hand off for a point the second Silva passed to sterling instead of scoring.

That was a win of champions, lucky and hard fought.

In little over a week I can realistically see Spurs going out of the cup (away to West Ham after a days rest), losing in the league again (away to Wolves) then all but getting dumped out of the Champions League when playing on that beach of a pitch again.

Oh it would be wonderful.
