Spurs (A) Post match Thread

Great result, not at our best and we could have had more on another day. Piss poor pitch, wonder how they would have been on the pitches of old? Good boost for Mahrez o what would have been a upsetting weekend. Mendy fluffed his lines a few times, which will test Pep's patience and Walker wasn't at his best - how many players can't perform against their old club? Would think it would be the opposite. Route one football for the goal should keep the tippy tappy moaners happy

What's up with Mendy?
He was terrible last night and made a host of errors. Is he match fit?

What’s this about a Mendy punch? I missed it.

Mendy threw a punch at Lamela but missed. Lamela had just hit him 3 times in the back of the head and Mendy didn’t like it. Sly Sports didn’t say a thing about what a cheating, dirty tw@ Lamela is.

Only had a brief look through this thread, but I'm surprised by the negative comments - I thought we played well and deserved the win. The difference might be that I already knew the result when I watched it. Perhaps I didn't give our mistakes as much weight, knowing we'd win in the end.
You should not be surprised by negative comments on here .If we get beat I don't get on here for a month

The pitch was woeful, think the players had that in the back of their minds.
Made for an exciting game if only because it had me on tenterhooks.

For all the forward thinking about our training ground, we didn’t think to put a Sunday league pitch in there. Luckily we won, but whoever omitted to lay the 1970’s/80’s pitch needs to go.

sissoko was the man of the match tells you everything you need to know, it was a one off of a game, the most most important thing is the points, we move on and forget last night, it wasn't indicitive of how we have and will play this season.
