Maybe it would, isn’t where the game was lost though. No zinny, Walker, stones, kdb, Foden and no striker probably hurt us more. Went as expected for me but too easy to use Bernardo as a reason. Spurs didn’t have their best player…
I just said we missed him don’t remember claiming anything else.
Maybe, as I said though just always the easy get out to go to the player leaving and my point was they didn’t miss their player leaving who usually carries them.
We are a bit top heavy with attacking players who can’t do the role he did for us but it is what it is if he wants to leave. I think we could do with a left back anyhow and another DM so we can confidently play Foden or KDB in Bernardo’s position. We will get away with it in most games but the big ones may cost us.

Mendy and Ake might be the worst combination of players we’ve had since the takeover. Ben Haim bad. Would much much rather play the kids.
Need a striker have done for 2 years.
Hopefully cancellos not reverting to type.

There was barely any competition last season. This year is different.

Yep. People will blame Ake for the goal but his feet are frozen because he's got to cover the inside and outside at the same time. Mendy should be helping him, but he was too busy bowing to the Spurs fans after gifting them another counter.I didn’t actually think Ake was bad. Unfortunately, he was trying to do both his and Mendy’s jobs so it was a struggle for him

With that team sheet the result was fairly predictable and so I would rather we played some of the youngsters again. They played with passion / hunger and actually did themselves no harm, unlike some of what was on display today!Wow, some wishing we played an even more weakend side.

We have an outstanding first 11. After that we are no better than the also rans. I don't get this we have the best squad argument.
